NABL accreditation of a laboratory is based on its capability to perform the test(s) and provide accurate and reliable results.
The National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accredits Prima Diagnostics — a unit of Bhima Life Sciences LLP — against ISO 15189:2022, “Medical laboratories — Requirements for quality and competence”, in the field of medical testing.
Certificate number NABLM0926KA10491 (in lieu of MC-3588), issued 26 August 2026 and valid until 25 August 2030. The full scope of accreditation is published on the NABL website.
ISO 9001 is a widely recognised standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System across industries — an effective, risk-based assurance system focused on customer satisfaction, leadership, process improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
ISO 9001:2015 means Prima identifies risks and opportunities in every process to run a Quality Management System with a strong customer focus, top-management commitment and continual improvement.
Prima's Quality Management System is registered by NQA (certificate 223436, valid until 4 March 2029) under UKAS accreditation, covering the provision of radiology, ultrasound, cardiology, neurology and clinical laboratory services.
