CT - Brain & Coronals

A CT Brain with Coronals is a fast, non-invasive imaging test that uses X-rays to create detailed 3D, horizontal (axial), and vertical (coronal) cross-sections of the brain. It is primarily used to detect bleeding, tumors, stroke, swelling, and skull fractures, providing superior detail of structures like the skull base. 

This scan is particularly useful in detecting abnormalities such as tumors, hemorrhage, infections, sinus-related issues, and structural changes in the brain. Coronal sections help in better visualization of regions like the frontal lobes, temporal lobes, and skull base.

CT Brain & Coronals may be performed with or without contrast depending on clinical requirements. It is widely used in both emergency and routine neurological evaluations for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
