CT - Cervical Spine

CT Cervical Spine is an advanced imaging test that provides detailed cross-sectional images of the cervical spine, which includes the first seven vertebrae in the neck region. It helps assess bones, intervertebral discs, spinal canal, and surrounding structures.

This scan is highly useful in detecting fractures, spinal injuries, degenerative changes, disc abnormalities, nerve compression, infections, and tumors. It is commonly used in trauma cases, chronic neck pain evaluation, and when precise bone detail is required.

CT imaging offers superior visualization of bony structures compared to standard X-rays and plays an important role in diagnosis, treatment planning, and post-surgical follow-up. In some cases, contrast dye may be used to enhance soft tissue visualization.
