CT - Face 3D
CT – Face 3D is a specialized imaging procedure that uses computed tomography (CT) to generate high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) images of the facial bones and surrounding structures.
This scan offers detailed visualization of the maxilla, mandible, nasal bones, orbits, zygomatic bones, and other facial structures. The 3D reconstruction allows better understanding of complex anatomy and is particularly useful in assessing facial trauma, fractures, congenital deformities, and tumors.
CT Face 3D is widely used in maxillofacial surgery planning, reconstructive procedures, dental implant planning, and evaluation of facial asymmetry. It provides superior detail compared to standard X-rays and helps clinicians plan precise surgical interventions.
The procedure is quick, non-invasive, and may be performed with or without contrast depending on the clinical requirement.
