CT - Shoulder Joint
CT – Shoulder Joint is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses computed tomography (CT) to obtain detailed cross-sectional images of the shoulder joint. This includes the humeral head, glenoid cavity, scapula, clavicle, and surrounding bony structures.
The scan provides high-resolution images that are particularly useful for evaluating complex fractures, joint alignment, and bone abnormalities. It may be performed with or without contrast dye depending on the clinical requirement, especially when soft tissue or vascular involvement is suspected.
