The Flu Panel is a molecular diagnostic test designed to detect and differentiate key respiratory viral pathogens in a single sample. Utilizing high-precision RT-PCR technology, this test identifies viral genetic material (RNA) to pinpoint the exact strain causing respiratory infection, allowing for targeted antiviral treatment and preventing unnecessary antibiotic use.

Included Subtypes & Targets:

• Influenza A: Broad screening for type A seasonal flu viruses.

• Influenza B: Detection of type B seasonal flu viruses.

• H1N1 Subtype: Identification of the Swine Flu strain.

• H3N2 Subtype: Identification of the seasonal Influenza A strain associated with severe flu symptoms.
