MRI - Neck
MRI – Neck is an advanced imaging procedure that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of the neck region, including muscles, lymph nodes, salivary glands, thyroid gland, blood vessels, nerves, airway, and surrounding soft tissues.
This scan is highly useful in diagnosing conditions such as tumors, infections, inflammation, cysts, vascular abnormalities, and congenital disorders. It is commonly recommended for patients experiencing neck pain, swelling, lumps, difficulty swallowing, or unexplained symptoms in the neck region.
MRI provides excellent soft tissue contrast, allowing accurate identification and characterization of abnormalities. It also plays an important role in staging cancers, guiding treatment planning, and monitoring response to therapy. The procedure is safe, painless, and does not involve radiation.
